I’ve been talking about Glamglow since the first days of That New Dress over 4 years ago.  If you want to see some hilariously early content check our my Glamglow ThirstyMud Review HERE.

I have also written reviews about Glamglow FlashMud Brightening Treatment Review HERE and Glamglow PowerMud Review HERE.

When it comes to their facemasks I go back to them over and over again.  They really are some of the best on the market.

However, Glamglow has been expanding outside of the realm of facemasks over the last few years, so I wanted to see if their other products are worth the hype!

I decided to put the Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturiser, Glowsetter Makeup Setting Spray and Poutmud Wet Lip Balm Treatment to the test.

Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturiser – Pearl Glow

I had high hopes for this product and it didn’t disappoint.

As I’ve got older my skin has got drier so priming my skin with lots of hydration is absolutely essential.  I tend to use this in between my regular day moisturiser and primer.  I know that sounds excessive but it works and provides a more flawless finish.

Alternatively, it’s great to use alone on those no-makeup days to give you a bit of a pick me up.  It adds some freshness and a subtle highlight to the skin.

I have also tried the Nude Glow shade which I actually prefer to the Pearl Glow, shown here, as it gives more of a sun kissed look.

Shop Pearl Glow HERE and Nude Glow HERE.

Glowsetter Makeup Setting Spray

Again, this is another Glamglow product I’ve fallen in love with.  In the past, I’ve struggled with makeup setters as I find they tend to move my makeup around, rather than keep in it in place.  Finally, I’ve discovered one which not only sets my makeup and keeps it in place, but also offers the perfect dewy glow.

The midst is incredibly fine which I really like.  It is an absolute must in my makeup regime now.

During the humid summer, Glamglow recommends putting it in the fridge to give an ultra-engerising and cooling spritz, which I love the idea of!

Shop it HERE.

Poutmud Wet Lip Balm Treatment – Love Scene

I think this is the only product I have tried from Glamglow which I like but don’t love.  To give it it’s due it’s really hydrating and I love the initial minty coolness.

The colour pay off is minimal but I think that’s partly to do with the pinky nude shade I have.  If you went for one of the berry or red toned ones you’ll probably get more pigment.

My biggest bug bear with it, is if you have long nails, which I usually do, reaching the product is almost impossible without stabbing your nail into it.  Although it looks great, the packaging hasn’t been brilliantly thought out.

Finally, for what you’re getting I think it’s quite pricey.  Lip balms are a competitive area and there are lots of great drugstore versions on the market, so justifying £16 was always going to be a big ask.  If you’d like to know some of my favourite lip balms catch my post HERE.

Shop it HERE on SALE.

I think it’s obvious I love Glamglow and highly rate their products.  If you’re looking for a purifying face mask then Glamglow SuperMud Clearing Treatment is the best on the market.  If you want something hydrating you need the Glamglow ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment.  Looking for something illuminating? Get the Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturiser.  Want a great makeup setter, then you need Glowsetter Makeup Setting Spray in your life!
