LETS TALK VINTAGE WITH VINTAGE FINE JEWELLERY

Recently I’ve developed an affection for all things vintage.  It began when I dug my old Dior Saddle bag out from the back of my closet and I started to see the beauty in items I could give a new lease of life to.

I came across Vintage Fine Jewellery a couple of months ago and was enchanted by the character and elegance of their selection of jewellery.  Vintage Fine Jewellery source exclusive pieces dating anywhere between the Victorian to Art Deco era.

They bring back to life a number of their jewellery pieces by either restoring them or reimagining them.  For example, they showed me a beautiful pin which had broken and how they were in the midst of redesigning it into a pendant.  I simply adore this idea of breathing new life into these stunning pieces which is exactly why Vintage Fine Jewellery resonated with me.

However, the beauty of Fine Vintage Jewellery is it’s not just about bringing their jewellery up-to-date, it’s also about celebrating its past.  Just imagine the stories these pieces could tell about all the amazing parties and events they’ve attended over the years.  It is the history of these pieces which make them truly unique.

I tend to be drawn to pieces dating between 1920s to 1960s.  My hands down favourite are the smokey quartz pieces (more information on them HERE, HERE & HERE) and I know I’m not the only one.  When I put snaps of them on my Instagram Stories, my direct messages went crazy with people asking for more information about them.

If you’re looking for statement cocktail rings, Vintage Fine Jewellery is the place to go.

As a ring fan, I’m also lusting after the statement Ruby and Sapphire dress ring (more information on it HERE).  It think the intertwining of the blue and rosy red stones is simply divine.

I also have to mention the 1960s gold necklace as another favourite of mine, as it looks sensational with everything.  It’s one of those pieces which stands out without being OTT or overbearing.  It has just the right amount of oomph!

Of course, when you’re talking about fine jewellery prices can get quite steep and Vintage Fine Jewellery do have a number of pieces going over the £1000 mark.  However, what is really surprising is how many of their pieces are so reasonably priced.  For example, my favourite smokey quartz cocktail ring is £285 (more information on it HERE).  The delicate diamond rings I’m wearing range between £250 – £325 (more information on them HERE & HERE).  For an heirloom piece with diamonds set in 18ct gold, I can’t help but think with Christmas around the corner, these could make the most magical gift.

It’s also worth noting when you shop with Vintage Fine Jewellery, everything they sell is tested, even if it is hallmarked, to assure it’s genuine gold, silver and platinum.  I always like to buy from brands who have experience and plenty of passion in what they do.  This couldn’t be truer of Vintage Fine Jewellery.

You can check out their website HERE to see more of their jewellery including lockets, pendants, brooches and watches.

Everything they sell is unique, so once it’s gone, its gone!  With Christmas coming up, if you see something you like, make sure you persuade your partner to treat you to it ASAP.  Alternatively, do what I do and buy a “To Me, From Me” Christmas gift.

Thank you to the wonderful Vintage Fine Jewellery for sponsoring this post.  I am truly in love with your vintage pieces and so delighted to be working with you.  As always all opinions and words remain my own.

Your vintage jewelry is pretty. I love delicate and simple pieces when it comes to vintage jewelry, the only exception to that rules is jewelry from the seventies and nineties than I prefer more gaudy pieces.
