BANISHING JANUARY BLUES WITH BLOOMON

I don’t know about you but I’m really feeling those post-Christmas blues.  I adore Christmas and the run up to it, so when it’s all over, I try to keep my spirits lifted as much as possible.

Although January can be a bit of a depressing month, I’ve stayed positive with plenty of sale shopping, birthday planning and a Bloomon subscription.  I will be sharing my birthday plans and sale purchases in due course, so for now, let’s chat Bloomon!

I’ve always been an avid fan of having flowers at home.  They’re the perfect pick me up as they always brighten up a room and can’t help but put a smile on my face.  For me, flowers have to be real, I can’t stand fake ones.  I hate anything fake, so synthetic flowers are a big no-no.

Having real flowers is a luxury as they can be very pricey.  I always say, you know you’ve become an adult when you realise the price of flowers, mattresses and bed linen.  If you want to get a worthwhile bouquet from a central London florist, you’re looking at least £45.  I’ve been to some florists that are so expensive, their prices have actually made my eyes water!

A Bloomon subscription is a perfect way to buy flowers without (thankfully) breaking the bank.  Their subscriptions range from £21.95 – £32.95 depending on the size of bouquet you go for.  I’m subscribed to the medium one which is around 60cm tall and works out at £25.95.

There are 3 main factors which has made me a Bloomon convert.  Firstly, is how full the bouquets are.  In the past, I’ve ordered flowers with no more than 4 floral stems in them and the rest is foliage and leaves to fill the bouquet out.  Whereas Bloomon doesn’t do this, their bouquets are filled to the brim with actual flowers.

Secondly, I have to mention how long these flowers last.  I have a fortnightly subscription and pretty much as soon as I throw one bunch out, within a day or two another is being delivered.  I would go as far as to say these are the longest lasting flowers I’ve ever had.  As long as you’re changing the water every couple of days and removing the odd dead stem, you should be getting at least 10 days out of these.

Lastly, the bouquets are sent directly to your home on a schedule to suit you.  As I already mentioned I have a fortnightly subscription.  However, it’s very flexible.  For example, I paused it over Christmas as I knew I was going to be away.

Thankfully, this is really simple to arrange.  All you have to do is log into your account online and amend your delivery schedule.

I also really like that on the day of delivery you’re texted an hourly slot as to when it will arrive, so there’s no waiting at home for hours on end.

If, like me, you’re a flower fanatic I highly recommend you look into Bloomon for the many reasons listed above.  Without a shadow of a doubt these are the best value for money flowers I’ve come across, especially within London.  They’re packed to the brim with flowers, last for ages and have the most efficient delivery service ever.

With January being such a grey month, I highly advise brightening it up with some gorgeous flowers.  If that isn’t enough, you can use promo code DOMVASE to get a complimentary vase with your first bouquet worth £25 when signing up.
