A Mini Bicester Village Haul

On the way back from my recent stay at Soho Farmhouse (which you can read all about HERE) my friends and I stopped at my favourite shopping spot, Bicester Village, aka shopping heaven!  I’ve spoken numerous times about my love for Bicester Village and shared many of the amazing designer bargains I’ve scored over the years (you can see previous hauls of mine from there HERE & HERE).

The incredible deals you can find never fail to blow me away.  Even though I’ve been many times, I’m still left opened mouthed by some of the insane discounts.  Despite being an outlet destination, Bicester Village still has seasonal sales; that’s right, they have discounts on discounts and I made sure I took full advantage!

I thought I’d share a few of the amazing pieces I picked up.  If you’ve been thinking of making a trip there, this might just give you that extra push to go!

Anya Hindmarch is one of my favourite designers of all time, I just adore how she combines good humour with impeccable quality and craftsmanship.  I was blown away by incredible discounts on the AW15 collection and needless to say, I was pretty spendy!  As you’ll probably already know, I own quite a few of her handbags but the last few seasons, she’s been doing small capsule collections of ready-to-wear and shoes.  It’s usually quite pricey so (obviously!) I ceased this opportunity to invest in my first ever Anya Hindmarch ready-to-wear!

There was a spectacular fur gilet which had been reduced from a whooping £5000 to £800.  I absolutely fell in love with it and even now I still can’t stop thinking about it.  It was probably one of the most beautiful, statement pieces I’ve ever seen.  As someone who wears gilets a lot, I was thinking of every excuse under the sun to try and justify it but in the end, I had to walk away (it almost broke my heart!).

However, I did compromise and get two stunning mink scarves which had amazing reductions, down from £995 to £190 each.  One is blue with a “this way” arrow and the other is black with a stop sign.  As the weather is currently freezing in London, scarves are a must.  They’re amazingly versatile and I know I’ll wear them with absolutely everything, from casual with jeans to sophisticated for a meeting/evening out.

The other piece I couldn’t resist was a fine knit grey sweater with the “litter” sigh (I have no idea what the official name of it is) but I thought it was fun and very tongue and cheek!  I can’t remember what the original RRP was, but it was down to £50 in the sale.  The quality and feel of it is absolutely gorgeous, you definitely couldn’t get a knit of this quality from even the likes Massimo Dutti or Reiss for that kind of price!

My friend treated herself to the Smiley Small Ebury bag in the most beautiful taupe colour which is currently on the Anya Hindmarch website in black for full price.  Happily, she only paid half price and it’s such a beautiful and classic bag I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s using it for the next 10 years.

The only other shop I bought something from was Stella McCartney where I couldn’t resist a stunning black peplum top.  It’s classic, really elegant and can easily be dressed up or down.  I figured it’s one of those perfect staple pieces which is a wardrobe essential.  I believe RRP was around the £400 mark and I got for a steal at £90.

The other store I have to mention, even though I didn’t buy anything from there is Saint Laurent.  Their selection of handbags is insane!  They pretty much have every classic shape in various colours.  Although the discounts weren’t mega, around 30%, if you’re thinking of treating yourself to a Saint Laurent bag I would highly recommend checking out the Bicester Village boutique first.

Saint Laurent did have some great discounts on their shoes and boots.  I found some incredible studded biker boots which would have been almost £1000 full priced but were down to £240.  The only reason I passed on them is because my size was the display model and it had been really beaten up.  I ummm’d and errr’d for a while but in the end, I decided £240 is a lot of money to spend on something which is damaged.

I would love to know if you’ve been to Bicester Village and what you thought.  Also, if you’re planning a trip there then please tag me in any photos, I love being nosy and seeing what amazing steals people manage to find!

Love everything you bought especially the peplum top. The gilet sounded lovely too but no point in buying if you can’t justify it!

    Have a great day!
